A visit to 17th century Tredegar House in Newport, one of the architectural wonders of Wales. Situated in 90 acres of beautiful gardens and parkland, it has been home to the Morgan family for over 500 years. Our visit takes in the beautiful state rooms and life ‘below stairs’. Castell Coch, where the ‘eccentric genius’ William Burges was given free rein to create a rural retreat to complement the opulence of Cardiff Castle. He didn’t hold back, dazzling ceilings, over-the-top furnishings and furniture are in abundance.
