We travel to Sheppy’s Cider near Taunton. We will be taken on foot to their apple orchards. The next stop is one of the vat houses where apple juice is fermented and our ciders are aged in oak and steel.
Finally, we have the chance to experience the 200-year history of Sheppy’s Cider through the artefacts in the rural life museum.
We enjoy a West Country Ploughman’s Lunch, with a piece of Cheddar Cheese, a slice of West country Gammon Ham with Mustard and Pickles; Coleslaw, Lettuce, Tomato, Cucumber and Celery. Slices of Baguette & Butter (drinks extra).
